— Bringing Nature into a Compact Café Experience —

Designed within a limited budget, the project focused on creating a memorable customer experience through one defining gesture rather than relying on expensive finishes. The centerpiece is a sculptural white steel planter that wraps around an existing Mexican Calabash tree, transforming it into the social heart of the café. Functioning as both landscape and communal seating, the installation softens the scale of the double-height volume while encouraging guests to gather beneath the canopy.

The interior palette remains intentionally restrained. White walls, light oak flooring, and natural timber establish a calm backdrop, allowing the greenery to become the primary visual identity. Black pendant lights introduce subtle contrast and create a rhythmic composition against the bright interior.

To reinforce the café's branding, linear LED lighting was integrated into the feature wall, extending the concept of "White Line" beyond the logo and into the architecture itself. During the day, natural light fills the space through the full-height glazing, while at night the illuminated vertical lines become a recognizable beacon visible from the street.

The project demonstrates how a single, carefully considered intervention can shape both the spatial identity and customer experience without exceeding budget constraints.
