— A Home Where Cabinetry Becomes Architecture —
Designed around the client's extensive collection of everyday belongings, this apartment transforms storage from a functional necessity into the defining architectural language of the home. Every wall is carefully integrated with custom millwork, accommodating everything from luggage and clothing to documents, vinyl records, books, and collectibles while maintaining a calm, uncluttered environment.
A warm palette of soft grey, charcoal, and natural oak establishes a refined backdrop that allows colorful mid-century furniture, artwork, and curated objects to become focal points throughout the interior. Continuous curved cabinetry softens the apartment's geometry, creating a seamless flow between spaces while maximizing usable storage.
Materiality balances warmth with sophistication. Handmade ceramic tiles, fluted stone, charcoal-stained oak veneer, and minimal grey stone are layered with natural timber to create depth and texture. A sculptural fluted fireplace anchors the living area, while open display shelves introduce rhythm and personality, celebrating the client's lifestyle through carefully curated objects.
