— A Residence Defined by Curves, Flow, and Craftsmanship —

The original zigzag layout made the apartment feel narrow and fragmented. My design approach was to dissolve these rigid geometries by removing selected walls and reshaping corners into sweeping curves, allowing each space to transition seamlessly into the next.

The ceiling was reconfigured into multiple levels, while the lighting strategy abandoned the conventional grid in favor of micro downlights and concealed indirect lighting that gently guide movement through the home. Even the ventilation system was redesigned with custom curved grilles, ensuring every element contributes to the continuity of the space. A warm yet refined material palette balances comfort with luxury. Natural oak flooring and Burl Oak veneer are paired with green onyx, imported terrazzo, hand-finished plaster, wool textiles, and brass accents. A continuous curved timber cabinet links the three primary living areas, reinforcing the project's central ideas of flow, unity, and craftsmanship.
